History

  • 1888 the company “C. Deilmann, Bergbauunternehmung Dortmund” was founded by Carl Deilmann.
  • 1968 – foundation of the Deilmann-Haniel GmbH, Dortmund-Kurl.
  • Middle of the 80s the department (section) Maschinen- und Stahlbau (today dhms) of the Deilmann-Haniel GmbH (DH) only produces and repairs the machinery and equipment needed by its own mining and shaft sinking sections (departments)
  • Beginning of the 90s foundation of the common sales company INTEROC
  • Middle of the nineties the department Maschinen- und Stahlbau is separated from DH and set up as an independent GmbH and 100 % subsidiary of DH. A PPS system is introduced in the production and a CAD system in the technical design department. The company is certified according to standard DIN ISO 9001.
  • In the period from 2002 to 2005 the new management starts a systematic new adjustment of company activities.
  • On 1st June 2006 100 % of the shares held by the Deilmann-Haniel Holding GmbH are sold to the Deilmann-Haniel International Mining and Tunneling GmbH (Deilmann-Haniel International), Dortmund. From this later company the Aton GmbH, Fulda purchases 51 %, whereas 49 % are held by the Heitkamp-Deilmann-Haniel GmbH, the former 100% shareholder of the Deilmann-Haniel Holding GmbH.
  • On 1st February 2007 the remaining 49 % are purchased by Aton from Deilmann-Haniel International. The dh mining system GmbH is now a 100 % owned company of the Aton Group.
  • A complete restructuring process of the company takes place in 2008.
  • 2009 name change to dh mining system
  • 2010 Development and introduction of the roadheader r75 as a new roadheader system on the market
